Spreadsheets don’t ask questions.
A spreadsheet will store anything you type into it and notice nothing. It does not know that rows 14 and 87 are the same role at two agencies, that the status in column F stopped being true in March, or that the CV you sent was the wrong version. None of that is a spreadsheet failing. It is a spreadsheet doing exactly what it is for.
Everything below is the same four steps a recruiter or a jobseeker already does by hand. The only difference is that the record survives them.

One record. The whole journey.
Four stages, and the point of all four is that nothing is retyped between them. What you capture in the first is still there, still current, in the fourth.
Capture the role, not a browser tab.
A job you are interested in arrives as a link, an email, a screenshot from a friend, or a posting you found at eleven at night. It goes in once, with the description, the company and the source attached — instead of living in a tab you will close by accident.
Put the posting and the CV side by side.
The analysis reads what the job actually asks for, in the order it asks for it, and scores each requirement against the history already on file. You get to see where you are strong and where you are light — before you commit an evening to the application rather than after.
Move into the application without losing the context.
The tailored CV is built only from experience already on file, and every claim in it is checked back against the text of your own CV. Anything it cannot find is flagged rather than quietly handed to you — and that check does not use AI, so it does not depend on the thing it is checking.
One status per role, still true next month.
Not a new row every time something happens. One continuously updated record for the role, with the duplicate caught before you create it — because applying twice through two agencies is not enthusiasm, it is the thing that gets your CV binned by both.
It doesn’t forget over the weekend.
Continuously updated context
Once a role is in ATS Engine, its application history stays useful instead of becoming another disconnected spreadsheet row. The record is the thing that survives — not your memory of it, and not a note in a file called notes final v3.

Built around real workflows
Every screen above is one you can open yourself in the demo, right now, without giving anybody an email address. Explore the live-product walkthroughs and screens to see how far the ideas actually go.

One day’s pay in the right job is worth more than a year of this.
Job Seeker is £5.99 a month — about 20p a day. Fourteen days of it cost nothing, and there is no card to hand over.
That is the whole year for less than most people spend getting to a single interview. And it is not really what you are buying: you are buying the gap between the role you settle for and the role you were right for — a difference that is paid to you every month, for as long as you hold the job. Weigh 20p a day against another six months of applying into silence.
Fourteen days free, then £5.99 a month. Cancel inside the fortnight and you pay nothing. Job Seeker Pro — the tailored CV and cover letter for each application — is another 20p a day.
Small checks. Big opportunities.
Simple tools that help you apply smarter, avoid mistakes, and present the real you with confidence.
Know before you spend the evening
The posting is read and scored against you first, so the applications you write are the ones worth writing.
Never apply twice by accident
The duplicate is caught before it exists — two agencies putting you forward for one role is how both submissions get binned.
Walk in able to defend every line
Everything written about you is traced back to your own CV, and anything it cannot find there is flagged rather than quietly invented.
One platform. Two sides of better hiring.

Every sector checks paperwork. No two check the same paperwork.
A CSCS card is not a DBS. An OEUK medical is not a Driver CPC. An FCA register entry is not a teaching qualification. The only thing they have in common is that the client asks for them, and the consultant is the one who has to remember which. ATS Engine ships a starting set for eight sectors — 44 credential types between them — and every one is yours to edit.
Apply a set in a click. Then change whatever does not fit.
Every document type carries its own expiry, its own re-check cadence, and whether that expiry may raise a task at all — because a DBS runs out and a degree does not. Add “Asbestos Awareness” or “CA-EBS” in a minute, with no release and no waiting on us.
A desk covering two sectors applies two sets, and nothing is hidden from anybody.
Healthcare & social care
DBS and the Update Service, professional registration, occupational health, mandatory training.

Education
Enhanced DBS, the barred list, prohibition checks, safer-recruitment references.

Early years
Paediatric first aid, Ofsted suitability, the disqualification declaration.

Construction
CSCS cards, CPCS and NPORS plant tickets, supervisor training, asbestos awareness.

Energy & offshore
BOSIET or FOET survival, the OEUK medical, MIST, CA-EBS, Vantage.

Driving & logistics
Vocational categories, Driver CPC, digital tachograph card, ADR.

Financial services
FCA register entry, fitness and propriety, the regulatory reference regime.

Security cleared
BS 7858 screening, SIA licensing, and the clearance level the contract needs.

Apply one in a click, then edit it. Apply more than one if your desk covers more than one — nothing is hidden from anybody. These are a place to begin, not a statement of what the law requires of you.
Every country hires.
Only the paperwork changes.
The eight sets above are British because that is where this was built, not because the product knows what a border is. Recruitment is the same job everywhere there is an economy: find the people, check they are who they say they are, put them in front of the employer who needs them. Only the middle step is local.
What travels
Fit scoring reads the posting and the CV, not a country. The pipeline enforces its stages the same way in any time zone. Expiry dates, re-check cadences, per-client requirements and the thirty-day task all behave identically whatever the certificate is called.

What you supply
The names. A desk in Texas enters I‑9 and a state nursing licence; a desk in Sydney enters a White Card and a Working with Children Check. Both take a minute and neither needs a release from us — which is the only reason one product can serve more than one country honestly.

Charged through PayPal from anywhere in the world — in pounds sterling or US dollars, each a real price rather than a converted one. See how the eight regimes map outside the UK.
A permanent role is filled once. A shift is filled every day.
A temporary vacancy is not one role — it is a pattern of shifts, each covered or not covered on its own day. ATS Engine treats it as what it is.
Who is free, and who is already out.
Candidates say which days and which shifts they can work. Ask who is free on Tuesday night and get a list you can actually ring — then book somebody from it and they come off it, so the consultant at the next desk does not phone a person who is already working.
A clash is refused, not warned about. Somebody who offered the whole day counts as working the whole day, so an early shift blocks the night as well.
Shift names are your own words — early, late, night, long day, AM, PM, days, rotation. No two of these sectors call them the same thing, so the product does not pick one sector’s vocabulary for everybody.
Already have a thousand candidates? Bring them.
We migrate your existing candidate database into ATS Engine free of charge - CSV, a folder of CVs, or an export from the system you are leaving. It is your data, and it lands in your ATS Engine as a working desk, not an archive.
Value before the invitation
Every migrated record is read, indexed and scored against your live roles straight away. The candidate only hears from ATS Engine when you choose to invite them, and the invitation is into your organisation rather than onto a shared platform - the shortlists arrive well before that.

Your data, your ATS Engine
Your candidates, your notes, your history. Held in your own organisation, where no other agency on ATS Engine can search them, see them, or know they exist. Your account owner can export the whole desk from Settings at any time - every record as a CSV, every CV as the original file, in one zip. Free to move in, and just as free to move out.

Your CV should do more than sit in a folder.
Build multiple CVs for different career directions, use your own CV and profile information to understand your fit with opportunities, keep applications organised and follow the journey through interviews and documents.
